R.I.P. Ronnie

A legendary vocalist, Ronnie James Dio passed away from the Heavy Metal universe at 7:45 a.m. May 16. (Los Angels time.) (See here**)
He, born as Ronaldo Giovanni Padovan in 1942, was dead at 67 years old.
He did not "die young" but was not so old to die.

It was Ronnie who brought Sword, Magic and Dragon into the Heavy Metal lyrics.
It was also he who shouted "kill the king!" first.
In Japan he was called "Kitajima Saburou (北島三郎) in the Heavy Metal world" because, Kitajima being a Japanese Enka (演歌) singer, they both were small-sized but had a powerful voice and veteran as well as each other. And Ronnie was also as veteran as Beatles.
And we believed, or we were convict, that he must survive until 100 years old as a alive vocalist or he was of the eternal youth in contrast to his looks because his voice on his last album The Devil You Know (2009) sounded as young as ever.

Now where and why did he go through the "gates of babylon?" To be a "Stargazer?" To "Catch The Rainbow?" For "A Light In The Black?"
Ronnie, "you are a singer" but you can never "sing me a song."
But your songs and legends are on and on forever.
Mankind is mortal but products by his work are immortal. (Arendt will say so, I guess.)

In "Heaven And Hell" I want Ronnie also to R.I.P...
"Rest in peace?" No! "Rock it powerfully!"
Such a burial style is suitable for him, the legend of Heavy Metal!
